Top 10 Schedule

We have had the most difficult stretch of the season in the nation with five of our last eight games against teams in the top eight in the country.  We have shown great effort in those games and held leads in the second half in three out of the five.  Of our other three games two were on the road, a 4 point loss at Cincinnati and a last play loss at South Florida.  The other game was a three point home loss to Marquette.

 

I bring up the details of our stretch to focus on our competitiveness despite our lack of results on the scoreboard.  We are working towards our goal of sustained success year in and year out.  I am confident that the combination of player development with increased recruiting success will get us to our goal.
