The Start of the Season

October 21, 2010 | Written By: Keno Davis

October 15th marked the official start to college basketball practices around the country. After our first practice at 5:00pm, we had our Late Night Madness at Alumni Hall and had to turn back the crowd after reaching full capacity. Those that were in attendence were in for a treat as freshman Bryce Cotton stole the show by winning the dunk contest in grand fashion. If you haven't seen the highlights, you can check them out at http://www.coachkenodavis.com/media.cfm.

Five practices into the season finds us optimistic for our future success at PC. Our talent is evident in our backcourt as well as our depth in the frontcourt. The question mark for this year's team is youth and inexperience. (Fortunately, a team's youth is taken care of by time and great effort on the court.) It is an exciting time for PC Basketball and I look forward to update you often this season!

Go Friars!
