It was a week of some exciting basketball in Providence as we hosted Louisville on Wednesday and Rutgers Saturday night. Our team showed some very good offensive and defensive play in stretches on Wednesday, and came out focused Saturday. All in all a split for the week while gaining invaluable experience was a postive result.

Individually, we have already seen great progress from our young team. The statistic that stood out Saturday was Jamine Peterson's 29 point, 20 rebound game. Developing players to be multi-dimensional with their game is important for their individual and our team success.

We go on the road for a pair of games this week as we play DePaul and Marquette. We again will focus on effort, with the understanding that executing will come in time.
