#4 rated Syracuse (25-2) starts off our week at The Dunk Tuesday night. Although we have had a tough stretch of games and injuries, our team continues to improve. Our short-term goal is to be playing our best basketball by the Big East Tournament at Madison Square Garden. The exciting element about tournament play is that records are thrown out and the game is decided on the court.
Our long-term approach as individuals and as a team is for off-season dedication and improvement. We are excited about our recruiting efforts, but will rely on our returners to set the tone for years to come.
Thanks for all the support from many true Friar fans that have written and emailed the office. We are indeed proud of our past at Providence College but excited about our future!
All the Best,
Coach Keno Davis
With four games against teams in the top seven nationally, we are facing the toughest stretch in the country. After our tough loss to Georgetown on Tuesday we are preparing to play at Villanova on Saturday.
We have had many bright spots from our young team this year. Bilal Dixon stood out against #7 Georgetown this week. To be able to pull down 16 rebounds as a freshman alongside Jamine Peterson's rebounding ability should translate to good things in the future.
Our post-season celebration banquet is set for April 10th at the Downtown Westin in Providence. For more information, you can contact Susan in the Basketball Office at 401-865-2266.
Thanks again for your support of our team and of www.coachkenodavis.com.

In the past week we were able to beat number 19 ranked UConn behind a plus 15 rebounding margin. It was exciting to see our team pull away behind her strength of our defense and rebounding. Every win we get on a national stage will only help us with our develoment on the court and on the recruiting trail.
After the season I will review all areas of our program, including the www.coachkenodavis.com website. Feel free to send in your comments or suggestions via the question and answer page. I appreciate all your support!
All the Best,
Coach Keno Davis
